it all depends whats operational on the site . some sites have wisp operators and these often use 5ghz
for local user access and often will configure these with multiple sector antennae . i often take my drone with me to work and fly near many radio sites i visit

I regularly have signal issues on one corner of the Bridgwater Fairfield. The one that’s closest to a huge cluster of aerials. I tend to avoid it now.
Interesting … do you happen to know which frequency your controller’s using? I normally select dual-band but will be trying out 2.4Ghz this week for (hopefully) longer range.
I would have been 5G. I rarely switch to 2.4 unless I am out in the boondocks
