Guess itโs easy to get those permissions when Dad owns the country.

Itโs a shame that it is virtually impossible to get permission to fly in the UAE whilst on holiday.
We go there regularly and would love to take my drone, but it is not worth the risk of getting it confiscated. 
You have to be resident in order to get your bird registered.

Cheers @Brigadier my sister is out there and Iโm out a couple of times a year, only place Iโve traveled and not taken the drone.
Yet on YouTube there are loads of videos.
