Moss Eccles Tarn and Esthwaite Water, Lake District

I was on holiday in this area during the heatwave week commencing 17th July, and managed some flights while there. Seriously hot and I was tempted to join the swimmer, but didn’t have a cossie with me
Moss Eccles Tarn and Esthwaite Water are situated near the small village of Near Sawrey a couple of miles South of Hawkshead in Cumbria. The National Trust property of Hilltop, Beatrix Potter’s cottage, is in Near Sawrey. It and Hawkshead are popular tourist spots, but in general the area is tranquil. Beatrix Potter spent many an hour fishing on Moss Eccles Tarn. It is thought that the water lilies on Moss Eccles inspired the story of Jeremy Fisher. Aerial sequences using a Fimi A3 drone.
