I was recently browsing through old stock images, post war and war time images of my local area and I stumbled across an image that was a very close to the same angle of an image I had take a few weeks earlier while shooting for the GADC competition.
The video while rough and not perfect shows how the area where I live has transformed from farm land.
This has given me inspiration to try and match some more wartime images with modern day images. Liverpool was literally bombarded during the war as it has a huge and influential dockland so there is tons of war time images showing bomb damage of my local area.
