Neo 2 Daytime Strobe Query

Hi
I have a Neo2, which I am very pleased with, however I do have one issue.
I’m no longer a spring chicken and nature has ensured that the eyesight isn’t quite as good as it used to be, so I find that when closed up at daytime flying stations it is very easy to loose sight of my drone. So I’m considering fitting some kind of lighting would help, and this is where I would appreciate some help.
Searching the google-sphere shows there seem to be 3 distinct types of lighting, some strobes some simply flashing lights. Amazon seem to be full of all 3 types at varying prices

  1. Button or coin, under motor velcro mount.
  2. Ribbon or halo, wraparound mount.
  3. Full strobe/anti colision !.
  4. . Even some marketed as landing lights.
    Bearing in mind that:
    a) Neo 2 has limited space to mount 2 of the 3 above whilst keeping sensors clear,
    b) assuming that to be worthwhile the light/strobe would need to be bottom mounted
    c) Not bothered about night ops, primary uese would be daytime.

I have done the YouTube search but most of the videos concentrate on night flights.
Is anyone able to advise me on which, if any to go for.
As always thanks in anticipation.
Tony

Any will aid vision, however the Neo is really made of goggles flying where you have no need for them

Thanks for the advicd @milkmanchris I’ll consider them but it may push the Grandchildren’s laughter over the edge seeing Grandad in goggles

I dont fly at night, but wanted lights for daytime orientation as I too have aging eyesight and at a distance the drone looks the same any way on. I bought 2 x [POFET Drone Strobe Light Flashing Light Anti-Collision LED Chargeable for All Drones] from Amazon. Expensive but easy to use and visable in any light (actually blinding flash close up!!). Have their own mini lipo, good for about 2 hrs, charged with simple usb cable. Very pleased.

Thanks @Paulmcc
I’ll definitely check those out. Sounds just the job.

I bought a set of strobe lights for exactly the same reason. I didn’t find them particularly helpful, great for night flying but practically useless in daylight.

Thanks @Seadog , I’ll bear that in mind. I don’t fly any great distances so I may still give them ago, for some dawn/dusk flights.
Always reminds me of standing on the flight deck searching for our helicopter ride home, seeing the wished for flashing beacons.

Try a company called Flytron. I used a 2 coloured rechargeable strobe which i fit by velcro on the battery.

Another vote for Flytron and their Strobon CREE lights :raised_back_of_hand:t2:

@CutThroatJake your Grey Arrows Drone Club member-discount will get you a healthy discount at Flytron too

Thanks guys @PingSpike & @Rodders007 I,ll definitely look at Flytron too.
