New beginning in FPV - from south east London

Hey all, im an 18 yr from South east London that is looking to get into the fpv drone hobby. Drones have always fascinated me, and I love the idea of a hobby that is constantly evolving and improving as we advance technologies. I brought a few consumer grade drones over the years but I’ve always wanted an immersive fpv experience. I feel that building a drone myself will help me understand how each part works and what makes up the foundation of a drone.
My plan is to look around for a while on part websites, set my budget and create a fun drone that will last me a while.
I am a complete newbie in drone culture so I am looking forward to getting to know it and it’s community.

Have you seen our members map? (Click the burger-menu in the top right) You may find some pilots living near you. Feel free to add yourself to the members map too :+1:t2:

We’re a well established club with many knowledgeable members so it’s very likely that any issues you come across will have been discussed here before. Our discussion forum has very powerful search features which should help you find what you need but if you get stuck you can post a new question in the #questions-and-answers category.

Welcome ! Wachcing fpv racing it looks really fun. However just watching it seems way too quick for me to keep up with. Good luck and hopefully we’ll be watching your physics-defying race footage
