New to droning, always looking for tips or places i can fly my drone within Somerset area, id prefer places that are less busy at first so i can continue getting used to flying, like a field which is public or something.

Have you seen our members map? (Click the burger-menu in the top right) You may find some pilots living near you. Feel free to add yourself to the members map too :+1:t2:

We’re a well established club with many knowledgeable members so it’s very likely that any issues you come across will have been discussed here before. Our discussion forum has very powerful search features which should help you find what you need but if you get stuck you can post a new question in the #questions-and-answers category.

I’m lucky in that I live in the middle of nowhere so flying is not an issue (except for the occasional notam).

Thats lucky ive got a lot of fields and things nearby but most is private owned lol

Hiya,
I’m in Highbridge.
If you are just looking for a place to practice, try the bos Rugby club. It’s often quit and has some grassland away from the pitches.
