I am sort of new to Done flying getting my first real one shortly.
I live near Cannock Chase and would like local insights on flying in the area.

I’m one of them to be fair Steve, I live in burntwood and can reach Lichfield from my home with my modded Mavic pro
Cannock chase is nice to fly, but castle ring is great due to visible distance.
I’ve done laps around the ring for practice, very few obstacles to crash into

Hi Steve, welcome to GADC, help and advise to all your drone related questions is available on here as it’s full of very experienced and extremely helpful members plus make good use of the little search icon top right to look up previous topics and questions, it’s also well worth adding your self to the sites members map to find other more local members close to you and in the where to fly my drone section for local interesting areas to fly . Hope you get a drone sorted soon and get out there and enjoy yourself.
