New to group not to drones - Radstock

Hi there everyone, just thought I’d introduce myself after being a member for a while and benefitting from the vast experience of people in the group by mostly reading posts.
I live near Radstock and started flying about 18 months ago with an Air 3 and enjoyed it very much but needed something a bit more exciting, so I bought the Avata 2 and very soon after that the remote controller 3 to fly in manual mode.
Being an electronics engineer I recently built a Flywoo Flytimes 85 (I have built 3 now) which I use with the DJI headset and RC3 controller in manual mode. Much more fun than the Avata but a little fragile and I quite often have small repairs to make!
Kind regards to all Julian

Flying a drone is great fun but sometimes you feel the need to have a purpose for doing so and the Challenges category provides some great reasons for you to fly.

There are regular challenges which are open to all, that attract members of all abilities. Support, advice and constructive criticism is freely available; still photography, video and the techniques for editing both are involved in the challenges. Suggestions, for subjects or for complete challenges, are always welcome - take a look in the Challenges category for more information.

We’re a well established club with many knowledgeable members so it’s very likely that any issues you come across will have been discussed here before.
