New Windsor Restrictions

Do we know if Grey Arrows Drone Club or Dronescene have responded to this directly to Thames Valley Police? I was going to give them my negative views about the idea but they want all your personal details and I am not going to give my details to TVP to put on a database of ‘Troublemakers’. There’s is no way any individual person’s views are going to be taken into account by plod. They ruined Windsor already by putting massive metal barriers up all around the centre without notice. They will do what they want to do, whatever our views are, and you can be sure they will soon be abusing whatever powers they give themselves in the name of ‘Security’.

Are you a member of any of the model flying associations/clubs (and if not why not), the OA16 is very useful, although I digress.

They would be in a much better position to lobby.

that restriction will take in the race course that has helicopters flying in all the time, but would stop all the drones filming the races at the same time as well I have counted 7 at one point ( been told its to beat the results and bookies ?? )

This is now law. Comes into force on 27th January 2022.

So you may want to fly the arse off the place until then.

For ref so the railway line and part of the Jub river is in the 1.25 mile for them that know the area.

And there still trying after a 19 man was found with a crossbow on Christmas day.

I was stunned that there was no NFZ ove Windsor castle. So I had a look on dronescene and sure enough you could fly and have a peep of her maj hanging her drawers on the washing line.

The no-fly regs for Windsor were already confirmed last year and start on January 22nd, so this is a complete “no news” article.
