Geoff7729. Said to wife when asked what I wanted for birthday. A drone from Temu for about £50 plus would be nice. I remember a few years ago I had a cheap one without a live camera but with a recording camera that could only be seen after landing and then downloading the SD card. It only had a 5 minute battery. Flew it around the warehouse a few times but as it didnt have GNSS it was very unstale and differcult to learn on. Had a few crashes with it. Anyway to cut a story short. I now have a DJI mini 3 drone with a RC with a screen. Very impressed with it, albeit I have only flown in the house. Have watch a few You tube video for beginners to get to understand the pros and cons. Had a few goes on the simulatater as well to understand the controls. Looking forward to the adventure.

Hi from sunny Blackpool.
You need to get out there and gain some confidence, I did similar flew around house crashing it off of stuff (mainly because I was in a flight restriction zone & was wary of travelling to find space to fly only to be disappointed, great for those that can fly from their own backyard.
You’ve got a great little drone, get out there and fly, just be aware of your surroundings such as trees, power lines etc. Fly some 100 m away in clear surroundings and try Return to home, amazing how much confidence it gives you knowing you can get it back easily, but learn to fly without relying on it. I rarely use it these days but in first few weeks used it a lot.
Welcome. I’m on a similar learning curve myself. Some great advice and support in here I feel.
