Newbie from Blackpool area

Morning,

Newbie to the forum and I live in Blackpool.

Recently purchased a Mini M 2 as my first drone, been a keen photographer for years and always like the idea of aerial photography.

Recently completed the Flyer ID theory as I thought it would be useful.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated on good locations to fly in the area.Would love to do some flying on the beach south shore but mindful of the zones.

Take a look on here, I often fly down on the front, usually North of central pier to avoid the airport restrictions.

Hi Bezza. Welcome.

Be wary of South Shore, the AFZ runs to around mid way between South Pier and North Pier. So South Pier and the Pleasure Beach are no go areas, however, Blackpool ATC are very helpful. 01253 472527 if you ever want to contact them.
