Hi everyone. I’m new to this group and also to drones, I’ve been a keen photographer since the late 70’s (that shows I’m old) but have recently bought a Potensic Atom the one with the 3 axis gimbal and am hoping that it will give me a different aspect to my photography. I have already got a flyer I.D. and an Operator I.D. and insurance with Coverdrone but there is still so much I need to learn to feel confident in actually ‘taking off’, so any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hi Richard, welcome from just down the road in Walsall.
If you’re nervous and got the first flight shakes, let me know and I’ll hold your hand for a couple of hours (not literally) until you think you’ve got it.
Thanks Hotrodspike, I may well take you up on that offer, when the weather breaks.
No problem mate, come on over to Walsall Arboretum, big field, plenty of room, no hassle at all.
Hello and welcome.
could this evolve into a group meet up?
I could do with a few tips being new!
Let’s just say, if the weather’s good and I’ve got some batteries charged, I’ll be there. I don’t mind helping anybody out, just let me know if/when you need some assistance.
John
