Official drone, no fly zone map.?

Hello all enthusiasts
A Happy Go lucky MC Tourer from Elsinore DK signing up… :star_struck:

Got lots of ‘gotta see’ input from nice folks at the MC forum: nc700.co.uk during the last 2 covid tormented years…
But when it gets to drone input, the otherwise stuffed wells of knowledge, dries out…

You guys have the best dronemap I could find! :+1:. but I’m looking for a official drone airspace interactive map, clearly indicating fly and no fly zones…?

If you can help in anyway, I owe you a cuppa along the way… while in :england:
:cupcake::coffee::teapot::+1:.

Best rgds… one rambling Dane…

(Ps: I only have a DJI mini 2, - but still what to have that extra safety margin knowing the no fly zones 110%)

Hi @RamblingDane / Henrik, and welcome to Grey Arrows :wave:t2:

:+1:

That is available in the same dronescene.co.uk map, by selecting the necessary layers …

Obviously, DJI GeoZones are their own idea … and that layer can be tuned on to see where they don’t allow you to fly.

Ask away if there’s any other information you feel you need.

Tks. For really quick response’s!

And I’ve just have to learn!:+1: To be patient enough to let the interactivity layers kick into the map…

It now works perfectly.!
Even shows me where the crown allows me to use the drone… :ok_hand:
We don’t have that in DK…!
A suggestion I must put forward the crown…

If any of you need to check out the interactive drone space map I DK
You can use this official Naviair link or get the app.:
https://www.droneluftrum.dk/app/map
This only shows you restrictions
(Until I get my suggestion pass the Crown)

Fly safe
best rgds…

Hello again
I may need some help in reading the interactive map correctly :innocent:

I now see, - Some of my planned flyby’s, - is in areas marked overall in blue (restricted) no fly zones… but in the same time, the area is marked pink ‘granted area by the crown’…?

  • I guess the restriction, is overruling ‘the crown’ - or…??
  • How do I read this.?

Example: ferry, kings lynn, west side landing, in low tide…
I’m planning breakfast at ‘Codfathers’ and reckoned the (morning ) light must give the scenery a nice setting… :star_struck: :dart:

Tks. For your attention!

Crown Estate only gives permission to take off from and land on Crown Estate land … when you’re in the air, other restrictions still apply. Like the massive FRZ for the Queens Jubilee flight rehearsal which will ground all drones within it for three days :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

The blue area you mention, I assume is this one (pop-up appears if you click on the blue) …

If so - that only applies as follows …

Active: Tuesday, May 24, 2022 11:10:00 AM until Friday, May 27, 2022 12:20:00 PM (UTC).

Was that when you were hoping to fly there?

Ahh… That makes sense…

When the answer is so obvious!
I sort of knew it already… of course

:100: Tks…

Precise… :dart:
I predict I will have the urge go ‘droning’ somewhere along the beautiful river banks, beaches or other fantastic landscapes… :video_game:

Only to find I’m grounded because of a temporary restriction, and my window of opportunity, will be very slim… :scream:
When ON, The blue areas are huge…?? So that part is quite annoying… :bomb:

But it is, what it is… :sunglasses:
Tank you so much…

  • Any suggestions, droning highlights?
Point’s of interest? On my trip from Dover zigzagging up along the east, to the Northernmost Point of England, are off course welcome…?

Have a absolute marvellous droning day… :star_struck:

In this instance. It is relatively unusual for them to be so large.

The location shown on Drone Scene would be the only ones I could suggest.

I hope you enjoy your visit to the UK. :+1:
