I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:
Beautiful spot for flying and after a long research to make sure it’s safe and legal I have decided to give it a go. There is so much more to see in this location including walking all the way up to the Ogmore Castle - and we went there before just without a drone and in another direction you will find a Dunraven Bay with a castle (or a footprint of the castle) I’m not too sure as we didn’t get past the parking gate due to only cash accepted.
Parking is available and the earlier you arrive the better
The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 26/07/2026. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location. Landowner permission may be required before taking off.

There are no parking or take off and landing markers on the map at this location. Could anyone that has flown here or knows the area add some useful markers to the map, please?
Added some markers, There is a car park and a toilet as well as a little coffee van but nice place to eat is further down the path and it’s called a West Farm

I was taking off my drone and landing manually, there is sand and rocks and grass you could possibly use for your mat but i was catching it myself due to windy conditions

It greatly depends on where you want to TOAL from. There are free parking spots on the main road but might require a little walk, and there are spots on the other side of the estuary by Candleston Castle. But the main carpark at Ogmore by Sea is a Paid for parking location between 7am and 10pm. The phone reception isn’t always the best though so be aware.
I should also add that West Farm is a distinct business and might get a bit upset if folks park there when they are open.
As an additional FYI the coffee van mentioned isn’t always there [it’s run by my mate from The Welsh Coffee Co] but his wife is always at the café, which is nearby during its opening hours: Welsh Coffee Shop - Welsh Coffee Roasters - quite frequently you will also find an ice-cream van as well at ObS.
