Regards cheap mapping software, look at open drone map, itāll take the pictures from your drone mapping mission and stitch them into both an orthophoto (a GIS map layer of the high res photos all together) and it will make a digital 3D model which you can actually 3D print if youāre into that.

Thanks for the recommendation. Flighthub or pilot 2 seem to generate decent flight plans, This looks pefect to stitch the data together. Standalone, offline and hopefully processing whilst Iām driving back from Pompey or Hayling tomorrrow.
I do have an old ender 3 pro i was in the middle of modifying with a larger bed. Time to finish it soon.
I was planning to complete the GVC when the weather warms up a bit more for the practical. I dont actually mind the cold but I want the examiner in a good mood.
