Operator ID sticker placement on a Neo 2

Afternoon all,
This is a question to Neo 2 owners. Where have you put your Operator ID stickers on your drone? Looking at photos of the drone, the obvious place looks to be on top of the battery, but I will want (ideally) to put a vinyl sticker on there instead. Underneath looks to be air vents and a grill.

Mine is cut in half, though the almost exact middle and wrapped around the rear of the fuselage, with the first half of the number/ID above the second half.

I’ll add a piccy in a bit

Looks like I trimmed the label too before sticking it on…

Mine on a Neo one (my UK and Easa on separate sides)

Nice one, thank you @MDSteve for the photo. I didn’t even think about doing it over two stickers to break it up. Nothing wrong with that, as long as people can read it. I have a Brother label machine that I use for network patch labels. It can do multi-line, each new line shrinks the text by half. I could even do that as long as I believe it is large enough to be read.

Thanks @milkmanchris for the photo.

Just remember the letters MUST be no less than 3mm high to conform to the rules!

Cheers for the reminder. I have a digital calliper, so will make sure it fits the regs.

Yet to hear of anyone having theirs read, let alone measured.. :winking_face_with_tongue:

Printed one off to be ready (drone ETA this afternoon), and it is 3mm, so good to go!

Mine is on the bottom of the battery compartment!

Thanks for the photo @Rocket . I love the paintwork you have done!

Its a wrap!

This is awesome..

Nice! I bet that took some time to get it on and straight!

Has it turned up yet?

Yes, luckily just as I was leaving to come home. So excited!

Had a bit of a play with different label sizes and positions, and think I have found the perfect place.

Lovin’ that paint job!

Mine too, but lacking the Spitfire paint job
