That’s cool Nathan, just drop me a message when the weather is good and when you are free. I do prefer flying when there is two people, just in case someone is triggered and decides to try and stop you flying.
I did Brighton Marina on my own and had really good feedback from people walking by, which helped me build my confidence. Most people are versed on drone flying now anyway.

What drone do you have? mine is the DJI Mini 3 pro

Will do! It would have to be in the new year now due to being away etc but would like.that.

I have a Mini 4, would love a 4 pro but need to convince the wife first lol

I want to fly here, has anyone got any other tips or advice?

Have you managed to fly at Ouse Valley Viaduct yet?
There is no problem flying here at all. Just take of and land on the side of the road where you park up. When I flew there it was a really dull day so my footage was also a bit dull. I really need to get back there, maybe early in the morning or early evening on a nice day with some scattered clouds.
Go luck with it.

I’ve just added a new Take Off And Landing marker to this location @ResilienceUAV :slightly_smiling_face:

I finally flew last week. The scaffolding is now down and they were just levelling off the ground.

I used 2 TOLAs which have markers. I was there i guess around 2 hours in total and didn’t have anyone approach me. I was prepared. Filed a flight plan, Onsite Survey report with checks etc, risk assessment and IDs.

I came by car and was prepared not to find the discussed layby available. There are a few parking opportunities north if you’re okay to walk back around one to two miles. I was, but luckily, i guess, due to the time ( ~ 09h30 ) and outside temperature, it was vacant.
Happy Flying…

PER NETWORK RAIL. NEVER KNEW THAT NETWORK RAIL OWNS THE PUBLIC FOOTPATH THAT GO UNDER NEATH IT ? THE FOOTPATH IS THE “ SUSSEX OUSE VALLEY WAY “. ACCORDING TO THE O/S MAP… IS THERE A WAY TO FIND OUT !

I notice on the FOI back in Feb 2022 that network rail
Reply said that they own the public footpath that goes under the viaduct !! Check on the Orandance survey map that it NOT a permitted footpath that the landowner owns… but actually it is a Public Footpath … which I think owns by the local council or highway agency … any way I can check ??

Hi @Traffik, it looks as though you’re quite new here :wave:t2:

Why not nip over to the Introductions page, and say hello properly and tell us a bit about yourself. :+1:t2:

I’ve flown here too @ResilienceUAV
