Panorama question

That wouldn’t change it. In auto it will compensate.

Somethings looks odd, as I too have a Mini 3 and here are some shots I have taken and the exposure seems to be set per shot:

The first with the sky the land part is dark, but the second with mostly land is exposed correctly.

I normally just leave the camera on auto do not use the available AEB.

Just out of interest on Sphere how far would you expect the gimble to look up towards the sky?

Those are not 360 pano pics, though, and this is where the OP is having the problem.

Many many on here with that very drone have done lots & lots of 360’s without a problem as far as I’m aware .

It varies by drone model .. but around 30° .. some more.

So that’s another sequence of photos it took

They are taken as part of a panorama, in this case a wide-angle (3x3). The key point is that the exposure changes by shot.

I would try resetting the camera settings in Fly. Obviously make a note of any changes you want to put back.

OK.

But, as one might expect, more exposure on the ground shots than the sky .. whereas the ones from @Rick2522 are more exposure of the sky and less exposure of the ground. :man_shrugging:

If you have Care Refresh .. I think this might be a point at which to get it back to DJI. Something quite obviously isn’t correct .. and I don’t see that it’s correctable.

I’ll give that a try.

Click on the bit at the bottom where it says jpeg format - go into the settings & see what the iso is saying just a thought,

Also the screen shot is showing a single image not 360 sphere & if memory serves ( with my DJI drone ) although not a mini 3 pro - when you flick it in to panoramas it changes the settings ( even tho ) your settings was fine for a single or hdr if that makes sense which has caught myself out before so worth a look .

The only other suggestion I’d make is to totally re-flash the firmware.

I had downward sensors on my Mavic Pro stop working, and re-flashing fixed it.

Whilst I see you’ve created an acceptable 360 from the images, obviously there remains an underlying issue with the drone that shouldn’t be ignored.

As a guide, my older, and less capable, Mini 2 creates a set of images that vary very little from one another ..

Actually, I’d suggest they are ALL slightly underexposed .. perhaps by half a stop from ideal - but that’s not really the issue, here, or much of a problem. Also, the Mini 2 doesn’t capture .dng that enables retrieval of the shadows so well.

It would still be good for you to find a solution to the problem.

It seems thou your have it in auto and AF that the autofocus is locked.

Have you tap the AF and adjust to test different settings.

before taken a picture tap the center of screen see if it’s locked :locked: if unlocked you have another slider when tapping test adjust.

Try moving the gimble up to the sky then drop down and see if it changes image correctly.

This is a long shot, are you actually seeing what you think is a perfect picture when taking the shot but when viewing it in the album it is all mucked up? Maybe try a different SD Card card with fast write speed.

Before contacting DJI I would Reset all parameters clear all data, if still fails try reverting your firmware to as early as possible and hopefully this works. Even reinstalling the newest firmware as it could have not installed correctly in the first place.
