What you have to keep in mind is that DJI Geo Zones don’t necessarily implement UK air space and legislation, and nor do they try to.
DJI are having to address the issues in every country in the world, and their geo zones are only designed to provide minimum protection for airports, and some other sensitive locations.
We have to abide by the UK legislation, and that is better represented by NATS.
Although - saying that and not having looked at the app in a while - it seems the current version (Android, at least) seems to be a bit of a cock-up!
There’s an FRZ option that does nothing … and all the FRZs are only visible when Airspace is selected. (Turn off Class D to more easily see them.)
