Well I took the plunge and installed Resolve on my laptop and after watching a few tutorials on YouTube had a go at editing a video I took in Goa, unfortunately I can’t show it here as it was of the children of the owner of the place I stayed at playing on a trampoline.
Having said that I cut out a few bits of the original, trimmed a bit from the start and end, put a photo as a title at the beginning, added a sound track and gave a credit for music by Eric Matyas at the end. The whole thing was just over two minutes long.
It was quite a steep learnng curve, but ended up quite pleased with the result. Watch out for more from AprilCoon Productions!

I have Just started using Adobe Photoshop Elements 2019 for photo and Adobe Premiere Elements 2019 for video So far seems good but I have not really done much with it yet. I also use lumafusion on my iPhone XSmax
