Im pleased to see the annual poppy season has started and bringing a much needed splash of colour to a largely brown landscape here in rural Wiltshire
For those interested in locations, 2 of the best fields I’ve found so far are close to 2 Drone Scene locations namely Wilton Windmill and Great Chalfield Manor (in the case of the latter, the field is only 50 metres from the Manor house)

Bumped into a fellow photographer while i was shooting near Wilton Windmill and he told me about this Facebook group.
Having a look at that group led me to the other field close to Chalfield Manor which i wouldn’t have stumbled over by chance
The fields on there aren’t limited to Wiltshire - worth a look?
I snapped these a couple of weeks ago somewhere between Mablethorpe and the Humber Bridge. Pulled into a lay-by on a busy road, cheated death crossing said road, forced my way through a substantial hedge. Worth it though as it was pleasing to see and brought a smile (which quickly faded as I retraced my steps back through the hedge and back across the road)
Possibly. I’d clocked it on my way down early doors and made a mental note to keep an eye out on the way back up
