A lovely chap has even started to look at options on the self build front that he may have for re sale.
But whilst I look at that, and building my own quad.. i have been pricing up stuff out the box.
I wanted everyones thoughts on this little self bundled.. bundle!

Now thats a lot for a forst FPV drone..
But is that lot worth the money.. am i just over thinking it!!
In hindsight I’m glad I started with a single Neo 2, then added the controller, then got N3 goggles and Motion Controller. That set me up for further DJI digital stuff like the Avata 2, then non DJI drones with O4 Air.
The goggles were £189 on offer, the Avata 2 was refurb for £279. The DJI FPV 3 controller was a pre loved deal on Amazon. I think I got good deals. Then I spent 30h in sim.
Now that I’m getting into Analog whoops to begin with, I’ve started with budget goggles (£90) and a Radiomaster Pocket (£70). Because it was all bit by bit, I feel like I didn’t feel the financial hit that much.
But I am having a lot of fun, I have to say. And a very supportive Mrs Pntqmstr
So ive taken the plung, shopped around a lot, used discount codes etc and ended up with the below..

its a good job you are on this forum. we have all been down the path you are on, some sarted on the left with analouge some on the right with digital. some of us have weaved back and forth between them both.
we have bought drones, built drones and all of us have crashed drones, so there is a wealth of knowledge on here to help you on your journey.
You’ll never have any spare cash, now you’ve started this journey.
The urge to progress to a 5” or larger quad, will quickly kick in and then you’ll dabble with the idea of tiny whoops, both will soon become a reality.
Then it’s a more powerful multi charger to charge more batteries quicker, then you’ll be considering giving analogue a go.
You’ll then be having packages delivered to work or other safe locations, so your better half doesn’t know what you’ve brought.
It’s probably more addictive and probably more expensive that a drug addiction (I used the word probably, because I’ve never used anything stronger than Ibuprofen)
