DJI
Iād suggest at a minimum a Mini 2
A lot depends on the budget
Correct!
Thanks I have looked at a Fast Mini 4D-F8 for Ā£ 58 are these any good?
No.
Perhap I really Should stick to Steam Boat Renovation? Sparkyws I think is trying his/her best to help can we talk directly? Or am I breaking the rules? Frank.
Frank this is an open forum so your number will get spammed, and I am sure you donāt want that
We can talk and be friends here mate
The first question isā¦ Whatās your budget/How much wonga you have to splash
Thanks for your offer of help. Am I unrealistic to spend Ā£200 or less? If not perhaps I should post the message below! frank K. I am not even sure, to whom, I am responding! Am I the only member, unable to make sense of the format? How to reply? New Post? Reply! āYou bought a S- - t Droneā! Who is responding? The whole format seem disjointed. Older messages first or last. Reply to one member attracts unhelpful remarks! My brother is a member, I will ask him if I am JUST TO STUPID to continue my membership. If so, I bow out respectfully. Frank K.
Its how forums and message boards have been since the dawn of the internet, try to get FaceBook out of your head its nothing like that
There are a few good tutorials online
What messsge?
The drones you are looking at are cheap ass crap, they are no good.
We are trying to save your money
Buy a DJI
Tello
Mini 1
Mini 2
All theses are worth spending cash on in my IMHO
Hi Frank. I sense your frustration both at the drone(s) which you have purchased and with this forum and its members.
I suspect that the cause of your frustration is that with both you are trying to run (fly) before you can walk. (I guess from your comments that you are new to both)
Sadly there are a lot of cheap Chinese products out there and most of them will prove unrewarding and a waste of money.
However, I believe that the 4DRC Fast.Mini 4D-F8 which you have purchased will prove quite satisfactory for your first steps.
I would strongly urge you to find an open field, possibly a local model flying club and seek some hands on help and guidance. You will also need to read and re-read the Chinglish instructions over and over and follow them one tiny step at a time.
This quadcopter is not a childās toy. I contains three solid state accelerometers, three gyroscopes, three magnetometers, an optical flow movement sensing camera, a high precision altimeter and a GPS receiver
Sorry, but you will have to gain a basic understanding of how to calibrate these before you can get safely into the the air.
Donāt give up. Be patient. Ultimately the gain will be worth the pain and above all donāt shout at other forum members.
Hi, AK7466. Thanks for your āgentle reprimandā and taking the time to explain my misgivings/lack of understanding, regarding the workings of the forum. Frank. P.S. You will be awarded T.J. for your help! F.
Hi all I purchased my first drone , yes I fell for all the hype the k8 .the instructions are poor I managed to take off flew for 5 mins wasnāt to bad .but then I turned it off tried again it was just flying forward instead of up lol any ideas anyone please at the min itās going back in the box . Also the battery I canāt even se how long Iām supposed to charge it for . What drones that actually work would people recommend for there first drone tia
DJI mini range will be your best bet - lower restrictions on them to where you can fly due to the weight. DJI are the leaders in this field so you really canāt go wrong here really. The Mini 2SE is a great entry point all the way up to the Mini 4 pro depending on your budget.
