Pushing the limits of legality

Recently, I flew my MINI 3 PRO drone over a couple of people on the beach and then flew it out to the sea before performing a 180 to capture footage of my family on the beach. Although I attempted to maintain a distance of 50-50 meters from others, it was challenging. During the flight, I captured over 3 sessions of 5-minute footage, including shots of the coastline from a height of 80-120 meters. As a novice in controlling drones, I tried to work with smooth controls. However, I had to land eventually and retrace my flight back over some individuals on the beach before reaching the ground. I’m uncertain whether flying in this way was legal, as I felt like I might have broken the rules momentarily.

Thanks all.

I have to admit I took the rule sliterally, even for sub 250g, of which I fall into.

As a novice, I will pick it all up, eventually.

Thanks

No legal issues at all from that description.

As a coastal flyer I’ll fly below the low water line when the tide is out and fly straight out. (see attached image)

When returning I’ll fly along the coastline avoiding any overflying of the beach and persons themselves. it’s just something I’ve stuck to doing and never had any confrontations particularly when the beach areas have been very busy of late due to the nice weather.
