As a side note how many GADC members are there?
No option for Unregistered - Above 250g?
Yes your correct I only thought about that after it was to late to amend next time
2285 subscribers and only 53 votes over 3 days not sure what to read in to that
Vote now !
I didn’t vote because there was no option reflecting my status - unregistered over 250g (awaiting registration via FPV UK).
2.5%
there’s alway a mathematician hiding quietly among the group!
Just a semi reasonable darts player, and many years collecting money on the doorstep.
Interesting is that a short term alternative allowance or indefinite
Should have taken a poll to see what should be included in the poll
Why dont we have a poll on that ! lol
Well I’ve paid my £9 to FPVUK and they told me the CAA would send registration details within 2 weeks (still waiting)
The same situation with registering via the BMFA. I have a slight suspicion that things, as they often do in bureaucracy, have gone a bit Pete Tong. There doesn’t appear to have been any update since 25/11/2019.
Nidge.
Same here !, what happens if the do not come through before the 31st?.
We don’t fly?
The exemption is only until 23 February. Paging @FPVUK, as I don’t want to end up registering directly with the CAA and getting stiffed for the payment twice!
The CAA has your data and will send out Operator IDs before 23rd February as advertised.
The last I heard was they would probably be done this week. IE tomorrow.
I’m on hold now for a conference call with the CAA and DfT where I can confirm that.
Don’t register directly with them as well - a duplicate will be rejected and there will be no refund.
Cheers mate! Depending how last-minute they cut it, I can see myself having to sticky-tape an Op ID onto the drone on the morning of Sunday 23rd to get out flying …
robbers !
