Have Fun!

Blue skies are going to grey up. Step on a happy face.

When I saw the image above my heart sank , I thought when was the last time I saw a removal van a proper house removal van , for some reason that’s immediately what came to mind linking the image with the term moving vehicles !

Well, let’s kick things off in a very tenuous, “Where’s Wally?” kind of way.

Taken from Shining Cliff woods, just off the A6 between Ambergate and Whatstandwell, at around 12.45pm, 14/11/21, with the Mini1.

There, that’s a suitably low bar.

I definitely saw a couple of pixels moving Jez :+1:t2:
Gorgeous colours there mate :ok_hand:t2:

If I see this sign I could be on to a winner …but will it need to be a video to prove its a moving vehicle and not a stationary one ?

If you get your shutter speed just right you can have a photo as well :ok_hand:t2:

@DeanoG60 or move the drone?

Not sure that would show the subject off very well though. Lol

@DeanoG60 but something I’ve never tried …I will just to see what the result is …curious to know now …set the drone in motion and hit the shutter button …I seem to remember my early days of SLR photography panning the camera on a moving subject to achieve a sharp image …the opposite of what we want to achieve …

Yeah I get what you mean now, so you get the motion blur of the background but the car looks stationary :+1:t2:

Then our attempt to spread gloom and despondency has not been in vain! :sunglasses:

The subject refers to vehicles in motion, not necessarily pantechnicons, Lutons or man in van.

I assume drone video of aircraft at an airport is inadmissible ?

Where do I post my pictures at these competitions?

Your colleagues will judge whether it is a vehicle or not - voting and comments are made by members not us dragons

Post each picture in a separate post in this thread

Images must be posted with the following information as a minimum:
◦ Location
◦ Time and date
◦ Aircraft/camera used

I was thinking more of the aspect of flying a drone around an airport to capture video of aircraft on the ground or taking off/landing - not something to be encouraged

Could be done with the right airport, co-operative pilots and clearance from ATC. You will never know unless you try!

Spacecraft
