Sankey Viaduct (Nine Arches Bridge) - Added to Bridges in North West

I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:

Land owner permission requirements unknown.

The Sankey Viaduct (locally known as the Nine Arches) is a railway viaduct in North West England.

The majority of the viaduct is located within the borough of St Helens, Merseyside, with approximately a third to west of Sankey Brook being located within the borough of Warrington, Cheshire.

It is a designated Grade I listed building and has been described as being “the earliest major railway viaduct in the world”.

Aka Sankey Viaduct. One of the most historic railway bridges in the UK!

I parked in the Sankey Canal car park off Bradlegh Road, and followed the path north. There was an excellent open space just south of the Viaduct suitable for take off and landing.
