I’m just back from a great trip to Scotland. While there we decided to visit Glen Lyon, apparently Scotland’s longest, and some say, most beautiful glen. Instead of heading up the more usual route via Fortingal, we took the scenic route past Ben Lawers Dam and Bridge of Balgie viewpoint via the single-track road over the mountain. The road joins Glen Lyon just beside the tea room which is open all year round (closed on Wednesdays). A great drive through stunning scenery.
