Realy hoping for clement weather on Sunday 27th so I can get some footage of the Severn bore, always love watching this since I was a tadpole
This is a grade 5 bore second largest in the world evidently.

EDIT just found out it will be through at 2205 that puts the crappers on that idea! Unless fit m2p which a whole array of lumecubes :rofl::rofl::rofl:

??? It’s the 26th today - and it’s only Thursday … where I live!

An interesting subject …. I can only imagine the results will show 500 other drones trying to do the same.. Hopefully not.

Sorry Sunday 29th sept. Won’t let me edit original post.
Shame it comes through at night, I’ve never seen drones when I’ve been there before but hey-ho popularity of drones .

As I recall there are slightly smaller bores one, sometimes two, tides before/after the optimum tide. Could be worth trying the one Sunday morning?

Please tell me I’m not the only one that had to google ‘severn bore’?

We never had those in London… :man_shrugging:

The Amazon Bore is the biggie!

Known as the Pororoca …

The Pororoca is a tidal bore, with waves up to 4 m (13 ft) high that travel as much as 800 km (500 mi) inland upstream on the Amazon River and adjacent rivers.

Sounds like a tunnel-digging machine!

Or their latest listening device

We’ve got a Night Flyer badge which is awarded for capturing great shots taken at night :+1:t2:

The Pororoca is on my bucket list.

Hope you come back with a similar vid, @robwakefield99. :+1:
