Short circuit - suspected F/c issue

New fc arrived today.

Watched a few YouTube videos to improve my soldering skills.

Desoldered the old one and soldered in the new.

Works without a smoke show!!

I watched this and followed the instructions.

My irons on 350. But I practiced on the old board first and made a few mistakes.

I would of ended up burning a hole in the dining room table :man_facepalming:t2: that would of gone down well with the Mrs :rage::face_with_head_bandage: lol

I’d also recommend a heat proof Matt or tray.

I’d have burnt no end of things if it wasn’t for that
