Show off your 3D Prints (don’t forget to share the files)

Whilst the CyberBrick set is not cheap (£70 for a 2 model set) it’s definitely worth the money, if you’re into building things, it’s relaxing and rewarding when it all takes shape.

I made the R2-D2 but think I have used one of the wrong motors, so need to swap it around
Will update once working fully

I made the same mistake, but with a servo. This screwed up the steering, so I reached out to the designer and he replied within 24hrs.

I sent him a short video and a couple of photos and he came back with the advice that sorted it.

So he’s earnt himself a couple of boosts. :+1:t2:

I was not aware that in the 2x kit there are 3 rotors and 2 are 360 and the other is 180, I put the 180 in it doh!

I would imagine you need the 360 at a guess. :person_shrugging:t2:

Yes I know that, but I have obviously put the other 360 rotor in the folk truck I made, makes sense why that was playing up lol

Think I’ve just about sorted my TPU print profile, quite pleased with this TPU benchy.

No supports used, so the A1 coped with most of the challenges other than the top of the front window. :+1:t2:

Have you seen Madtechs vid on TPU printing? It includes a profile for TPU 95A for the Bambu

No, but I’ll be searching it, now you’ve pointed me in that direction :+1:t2:

You’ve changed

TPU 95, I didn’t bother drying it first, a few stings but apart from that there were no overhang’s that failed, I would highly recommend this TPU it has never let me down https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0BNVG985W?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_11&th=1

Bit of a 3D printing buff. Some of the things I’ve made so far include filer and SD card box for Mavis the Mavic 3 Pro, landing pad for Trinity the Neo, blade boxes, soares and repairs boxes, survey discs and their box plus a survey nail box.

There is more to come

Thats fab, would you make the stl available ??

I’ve mostly spent the last few days trying to organise my growing collection of 3D-printing-related bits and bobs.

Bought myself a £13 Skådis board from Ikea as a starting point, then set about printing useful inserts. A way to go yet, but getting there:

Then I got carried away and printed a small Skådis that clips to the side of the P2S, and a spool holder that clips in to that so I can finally try the external spool option.

Tell you what; when you’ve only used an AMS, manually loading and unloading filament is an absolute faff!

I like the Bits and Bobs box’s

I couldn’t think what to label them properly as. I’ll probably change the labels once I work out what goes in the drawers

(He’s done a free-standing version as well)

Get used to it…there is always “I need to print that” around every corner
