Thanks for the link. I printed a claw and a paracord spooler to test the retrieval. Works fine on a Mini-class drone: a bit sketchy with an Air 3S:

Hi All, been a while since I logged in to GADC. Life been a bit shit of late. Anyway, hope you all had a great Xmas and New Year.

So I did a thing recently and I purchased an Osmo 360. I then got myself a few extras to go with, one of which were the lense protectors. However, the protectors dont come with any protectors of their own so I decided to design and print something of my own to store them safely.

there were a few teething issues and some failed early versions. Its basically a parametric box that i have designed some TPU inserts for. Would love to hear your thoughts..

Bambu Lab CyberBrick Build.

The missus recently treated me to the BL CyberBrick Ultimate Hardware Kit for my forthcoming birthday, so I’ve spent the New Break printing the Official BL CyberBrick Remote and the chassis of a remote control car, both available on MakerWorld.

CyberBrick Remote

RC Car Chassis

I’ve currently printed 4 of the 8 plates for the chassis, once I’ve finished printing, I need to add the electrical hardware to both the remote and chassis then choose which car shell and wheels I’m gonna use from the compatible range.

I’ll keep adding updates as that progress

No matter how many hints I drop to the missus, she won’t let me have it until then.

Cheers Mark.

Mine won’t have time to be put into a storage box, I’ll have two RC cars printed by my Bday, in two weeks time.

This will be my second project.

Not exactly a masterpiece, but the P2S finally arrived so this is my first ever 3D print from my first ever 3D printer and you get to see it in all its (hot pink) glory.

You lucky lucky man :joy: You missed a decade of complete f*ckery whilst these things evolved from a pile of junk and electronics into what’s basically an appliance that makes stuff when you press a button. I’ve got the P1S and it’s still near science fiction to me tbh.

Enjoy many hours of building. (And set a tight filament budget :joy::face_with_peeking_eye:)
