I don’t think anyone mentioned it, but the Home Point can be set to Controller instead of the take off point. At least you can do that in DJI Pilot, so don’t see why it wouldn’t be possible in the fly app. I fly an M3t from boats reasonably often, harder, well, more risky to fingers anyway to hand catch, a set of floats make catching easier! Land with plenty of battery, saves a lot of stress if you need a few tries to land.

Yeah, I was playing it safe and bringing it back at 40% battery, to have plenty of spare capacity.
