SP500 Class?

Hi,

Looking at purchasing a SP500. Do I need to register and get an ID etc.

Very new to this but want to be legal.

All depends on the weight

At just 220gm it’s below the 250gm threshold (review here) so basically NO but it has a camera so you will need to register an Operators ID.

It will cost you £10, no test, you can register on line, start here

That’s great. I have read through the rules relating to flying minimum distances from the public and airports etc. Everything seem to be a common sense way of thinking.
