Hello,
I am going to be taking my A2 of C soon.
But wanted to ask with my Mavic 3 pro, before I complete this, how close can i fly to INVOLVED people. I am aware that I need to be more than 150m away from mostly everything, but if i am practicing with involved people in an open field how close am I allowed to fly to them. Im not wanting to fly any closer than 15 metres.

The key word is Involved here - as close as you dare seems to be what the CAA suggests ( they say closer than 50m for involved) but don’t seem to suggest how close it too close other than to be sure to not put people at risk if something was to go wrong

yes even without the A2 CofC you can fly as close as you wish as long as its safe to anyone
It’s all about risk mitigation basically - they are involved ( been briefed) so that means they know the drone is in the air - they know the flight path its likely to take - they should be able to be close enough to you to hear you shout - get out the … way when it all goes wrong 
People who are not involved would not know these things so when a drone drops out of the sky they may not be able to act correctly when someone shouts watch out
