Yup. Then windy for a few days. 
I set my alarm for 4.15am, but it was still pitch black, so I set it again for 4.45am. It either didn’t go off or I didn’t hear it and so the next thing I woke up at 6.30am and it was too late by then as I wanted to be all finished by 7.
I’ll try again another day.

Done the same flight in the summer
I Flew out to Spitbank earlier today. Perfect conditions and was there in no time… A great afternoon’s flying around that area and was fortune to catch HMS Diamond on her departure from Portsmouth.
