Glad you’re feeling better mate!
Thanks guys for the kind words.
I’m just miffed I never saw anything in the coastguard helicopter. It was like being a passenger on a car at 150 mph with the windows open with bad suspension and a very noisy engine.
But I am so great full to all that helped me

Wow Steve, a scary experience.
Glad you are sorted now.
The RNLI deserve all the support we can give.
Perhaps there’s a lesson for all of us here. We go off, generally alone, to what are quite often quiet locations with few people around.
There are apps you can get which will send an SOS message to predifined contacts. Even with What3words you can share a location.
Appreciate you need to recognise you need help in the first place to get a message out but worth thinking about.
Steve you nutter. I’d grumble at walking 4 miles and I haven’t got what you have. Take your scooter next time.
Glad you’re ok
