Studland Heath takes me back. A friend was wandering along the road, combat jacket, long hair, beard and carrying a large sack. This was around the time that a large amount of weed was growing on the Heath.
The nice officers that stopped hime asked to see in the sack.
“You don’t want to see in the sack”
That convinced them that, yes sonny, they did very much want to look in the sack.
So they grabbed it, opened it and seven pissed off adders fell writhing out.
My mate the countryside ranger had few problems with the police after that
