Just submitted my first Article 16 Risk Assessment to the BMFA… Is it a done thing to share that kind of thing here? I did do a search but nothing came up in the forums. I’m happy to share it for other if it gets approved.
The risk assessments dont actually get approved as such. The requirement is that you have evidence of having conducted one. The BMFA have just provided a way for you to lodge them securely as an extra backup if needed.

Although admittedly mine is a personal application and not for a club so I assumed that I don’t have to take that particular requirement into account…
For clubs applying to operate over 7.5kg aircraft above 400ft or for a Public display permit the RA does need approval, along with a number of othere elements too.
However for you to operate in a built up area primarily used for recreation you just need proof of having conducted one.
