Tantallon Castle

A very early start this morning to get out to Oxroad Bay and Tantallon Castle in East Lothian for sunrise.
This is 3 images stitched together in Lightroom. Camera Info: 1/320sec, f7.1, 100iso, manual exposure, manual WB (5500).

How busy does it get there? Is it quiet? Nice place.

It can get very busy depending on the time of year. There is a small car park at Seacliff (£3 access charge) where you can park, if you want to get to the shore. A lot of folk use it though as there’s a nice beach. We went at sunrise and were done by 8.30am and by then it was very busy.

Nice pano Gavin. I see you are still a fan of vignettes. It actually makes it look more like sunset than sunrise. Just my tuppence worth, but you have lost a lot of shadow detail, makes the overall image look a bit too dark for me.
