Glad you put the video up . I though from the initial photo, you’d crashed into a trolley
hobbyrc are selling packs of 3 for 6 quid, not sure of quality??.
If they are the Matek ones, they are great and perfect for attaching to a balance lead socket and powering a Runcam Thumb. I use one for a 4K Pro model on my Ranger T1 and it’s flawless.
Cheers mate it is and I have just changed the settings today hence keen to see what the footage looks like
Well just an update on this old thread, having nothing to loose I stripped down the insta360 go2 out of interest if anything else. And on closer inspection I found a couple of ribbon cables separated, so I reconnected everything and low and behold its come back to life.
Now its still not 100% and there is a small magnet that sits on top of a copper ribbon that has broke. other than helping it snap back into the case I’m not sure what this bit does is it part of the charging system for it ??.
How easy was it get inside?
Really easy with a heat gun
That sounds worrying rather than easy…
Why’s that ???
Heat guns melt stuff…
Lol …. No it did ripple the plastic in 1 spot but that’s it what do you think the magnetic is for ???
That’s the 2 bits and it fits in where the back plate then attaches to the copper foil …
No idea
Isn’t it for keeping the power/charge/USB adaptor thingy stuck to the case, rather like the Peanut
I’m thinking so but why was it stuck to the copper ribbon??
to act as an extra heatsink
Hmmm good shout or maybe to shield the electronic from the magnetic force ???
Your bob on young man, Iv just watched a video and it shows the copper strip attached to the magnet where mush of popped off on impact.
Therefore Im thinking the copper ribbon is drawing the heat away from the board and using the magnet to dissipate it
Cheers Steve
