So they could get it back in the bag
Till someone ties your ankles to something that is bigger then the hole at the end. Of course no one would do that though.
Someone thought of it though, so entirely possible ![]()
I was no where in the area your honour.

Get your strobes ready
@Committee serious question please. Apologies for asking this.
As you may be aware, I am struggling to walk - this is actually getting worse. I now have a blue badge.
I note that the TOAL point appears much closer to the camping area.
However I really need to know how close one can park to an area where I can take off and land.
I really need to fly sitting down and ideally have my drones on my table etc to access easily.
Last year was fine, as I parked my car, opened by boot, put my chair and table behind my boot and was able to fly using my mat to fly.
I didnāt handle this years well and was too embarrassed to ask for help. Having done the long walk once, I could not repeat it.
I appreciate that fields are not disabled friendly, but need to know if it is worth the journey.
If I do, my wife will be with me, as I vowed never to go away without her again.
Losing your independence isnāt a nice thing. So I appreciate your thoughts and sorry to have to ask.
If you come and you need help in any way then please ask. We are there for the weekend and if there is anything we can do then let us know.
I am unsure why you feel the need to be sorry. If you can not walk then you can not walk.
Sarah was in a wheelchair for many years and told she was not able to walk. So I can fully understand the help that is needed. Please let me know if you need help. Send me a DM with anything you feel you may need help with. Even if we have to drive you to the toal.
Aiming to camp for the closest will be great. I am sure the organisers will let you know just how far it is but please ask us for help. If I have to walk all weekend to help I will.

Edit⦠After posting this I must add.
DO NOT feel you can not ask. If you come you will have my phone number and when you want to fly you can call me and I will come over. I just ask one thing. Just shout. I am only a word away.
Never be embarrassed to ask for help mate, nobody will judge you weāre all there to have a good time so Iām sure every single member of this amazing club would drop everything to help out any other member. Itās just the way this club is. All for one, one for all!
I canāt see there being much of an issue for blue badge holders to be allowed to drive their car up to the TOAL area. I drove up there to say my goodbyes at the last one because my hay-fever was kicking my arse and had to leave early so It shouldnāt be an issue mate. ![]()
@DroneGeek Ian
To echo what others have said.
Please do ask, we want to make the event as accessible to as many people as possible.
With this in mind, we have moved the camping area and parking will be possible beside this area for those less able to access the TOAL area.
Flying must take place from the trailer area, however a chair and table can be set up in the area (many did in June), again please ask anyone on site for help
This is what makes this club great.
You mean like a tow bar & drag you round the field on your backside ooooo ouchhhhh ![]()
Donāt you dare be too embarrassed to ask for help.
We are an enterprising lot, and can figure out a solution to pretty much any issue.
Does this mean youāre booking an ice cream van.

I think it could be justified.
Ian @DroneGeek, Never be embarrassed to ask for help, Like whatās been said many times
Itās not just a forum/group it becomes family.
I have more respect for people on here than i do in my own circle.
So next time you need help ask, you may be suprised mate ![]()
Get your drone strobes and whistles ready for the Corby Rave! ![]()
We are going to light up the trailer Toal point ![]()
Should be fun ![]()
