It’s a shot I’ve always wanted ever since I got my first drone.
One taken a few weeks ago for the last RTF challenge, now posted here as that round has been settled

Nice, @Rustyo200le
They used a shot of the ruined church and flooded Somerset Levels in the background as a “weather watcher” backdrop for a BBC weather forecast a few weeks ago.
I’ve not visited it while flooded, but i’ve had several goes at trying to catch a misty sunrise or 2 at the location.
Shots below taken more or less this time last year
Beautiful place. Stayed in Riva Del Garda a couple of years ago. Fantastic location, and in my experience the Italians don’t give a monkeys if you fly there as long as you follow the code, no prob’s. ![]()
Nice thanks for sharing
Hi @mancub77, it looks as though you’re quite new here ![]()
Why not nip over to the Introductions page, and say hello properly and tell us a bit about yourself. ![]()
Nice pics. Looks like Arizona has lost the ‘cowboy desert’ look and become industrialised, and the big gorge is full of water. Guess that’s due to casino revenue investment in the local area. If you know, you know ![]()
That’s Middlesbrough for you ![]()
@gasbag43
Those are a masterclass in composition ![]()
Great shot Paul. The colour pallette on that one could make it anywhere in the world ![]()
While I was at Middlesbrough transporter bridge I met a guy who monitors peregrine falcons. He informed me that there were a pair nesting on the apex of the first pillar.
After a long and mutual discussion we both agreed that flying on the North side of the bridge would not disturb them.
He explained that these falcons generally nest on high up structures so it is worth keeping in mind when selecting somewhere to film.
Very informative and approachable guy.
Where’s this please?
So love these images of the Ratcliffe-on-Soar Power Station - the photo of the little boat is just awesome.
Ratcliffe-on-Soar Power Station - its near Nottingham / East Mids Airport
