The Daily Photo Thread

Well I left all my children at home so that’s a good start - LOL.

I tell you what I have noticed since I arrived…it is very hard to just think “let’s stop here, get the drone out and fly it over X” because there are no stopping points and just about every inch of road either has a fence or a wall.

As an aside - the wife & I went to Capocorb Vell today to see the Talayotic ruins and as I entered the lady spotted my 360 camera and said ‘no drone’… I smelled sweetly and said no problem and immediately thought if I wanted to shoot it I’d come at dawn or sunset and they’d be long gone anyway so wouldn’t know.

I took this on the evening of the lunar eclipse … just over 2 weeks ago.

Farley Mount - Midnight - Illuminated by a pair of LumeCubes on the MP - lights of Southampton in the distance.

Do you mind if I post the photos of your setup Dave?

Not a problem! :+1:

Didn’t get as close a shot as I thought, but you can see that Dave has some serious lighting for his Mavic

Bright eyes, how can you close and fail?
How can the light that burned so brightly
Suddenly burn so pale?
Bright eyes"

I thought this would come out brighter, but this was taken when I think Dave was more that 500m away and it was a bright morning at that time with the sun behind us

Can you see it? We certainly could.

Need some help!

An evening flight from the end of Hythe Pier.

Whenever I go to Hythe Pier I see that incredible hull from what must have been a really impressive sailing boat.

The style suggests it’s from 20s/30s, or earlier - not a J Class, but all my googling hasn’t revealed its true identity.

I need that Euromillions win to get this restored to its original glory.
