Could it have been a bird strike?

thats cool, I am glad they admitted it, def looks like a tech fail

i did think that but what you have highlighted i think is glare from the sun

@Sparkyws

there is no bang or jerk… I looks like it just gave up flying

it stopped and dropped slightly then fell

Looks like the cell 2 in the battery failed/ was faulty.

It did and the error at the start is a strange one, did you hand-launch?

Yes i did hand lauee3ench

Saw high winds / crash / Mini 3 Pro - so assumed that @clinkadink was involved :joy:

How wrong I can be!

:joy:

Glad to hear they are replacing it.

It does show …

01m 56s - Detected side shock / possible collision, aircraft is rolling sharply to the right" just before it dropped.

More info states this:

Triggered when the aircraft pitches (tips forward/backward) or rolls (tips right/left) beyond normal operating parameters.

Possible causes include 1) a propeller breaking or falling off 2) an exceptionally strong wind gust or 3) a collision or a bird strike.

My money is on a bird strike

The mode changed to detour is odd as well

Is there a reason why you were flying backwards?
