Or maybe they have been busy sorting out one contestant’s crane video and then scouring the country on a dull Sunday morning to find a crawler crane to photograph to illustrate their article …
[judge’s voice] think we got away with that one, wake me up around two o’ clock, can you?
Oh, now this changes everything… well, it changes one small thing that might change not very much at all. I’ve only been looking at Scottish National Trust places. Doh!
They don’t go much for crowd barriers or Harris fencing in Porlock then? Fortunately we could just make out a flimsy wire fence around the main ring.
How was the Circus Skills tuition?
If you managed to get a diploma in juggling various different things while walking over a minefield on a tightrope you could join the Challenge judges next year …
We seem to have had good weather and few entries. We suspect that people are busy taking pictures and not posting them immediately. We await the first inclement period to see whether our theory of saving them for a rainy day is correct.
Calm before the storm?
But, for the latest situation, Click-the-Pic™ to be taken live to the Giant Electronic Laser Leaderboard!
Yeah me too. I took it to be National Trust for Scotland as the equivalent. HES is a separate body, a government agency whereas NTS is a charity. If HES is acceptable it does widen the search area a bit.
You can shoot as many as you like on the same day, providing they are different locations - you can’t attend a fair, say and claim it for one subject, blue tents amongst the stalls as another and seven red vans in the car park as a third.
But, partly to prevent us being overwhelmed with 30 pictures from each entrant five minutes before the close on Saturday 7th September, we will only accept a maximum of two pictures per entrant per day.
You may only post a maximum of TWO entries per day during the Challenge which will run from 00:01 Sunday the 21st of July until 23:00 on Saturday, September 7th.
Yes, you can take red vans, orange boats, anything in fact up to the final day. But, while all other items consist of a subject and bonus thus forming one entry Item 18 consists of seven separate images taken at various locations and each image can be posted at any time after the start date. Thus Item 18 is considered to be seven separate entries.
Mini 3 Pro, Ravenhill Belfast, Sat 3rd August 11.30am. The Kingspan Stadium, home of Ulster rugby. There’s a few lads having a bit of a kickabout or a practice but it’s not a paid game, so just a single point please.
Have a point Paul and thank you for waking up the judging team.
Unfortunately the scoreboard lads have sloped off down the Prop and Gimbal to get stotious with the beardy-weirdies from the art department so we will place the point in the Stor-a-Skor™ ready for tomorrow night’s update.
