We do hope you do not have expectations, great or small, of us reading an entire Dickens novel in order to verify your claim , which to be honest is somewhat tenuous.

Provide a link and convince us!

Apologies I copied the wrong link, I have edited the entry. :crossed_fingers:

Thanks for the chuckle…

Lots of nice houses along there - used to be the most expensive road in Essex at one point.

4 Points for your water tower :+1:

And another 3 for your pub. We could not award a bonus for the notable person as it seems more associated with the novel, and not Mr Dickens as such, keep up the good work :+1:

22. A summer fete or fair

  • Bonus for an event taking place in a cordoned-off show ring
  • Bonus for a bouncy castle or inflatable slide
  • Bonus for more than 12 stalls

Circus workshop in one of the display arenas, sadly only 10 stalls and 1 ice cream van and no bouncy inflatables.

The Dalmellington Iron Works was in operation between 1848 and 1921 when it was closed during a workers’ strike. It was converted to a brickworks in 1928 which was in operation until it closed in 1976.

The ironworks was connected to Ayr by the Ayr and Dalmellington Railway company (wikipedia link).

3 points.

Always good to find a derelict building with a relatively large interior to fly in - unless you are into FPV

Very windy outside, so turning off the sensors and sneaking through 2ft-wide doorway whilst being buffeted about… I tell you, I was bricking it.

Bricking it!!

BRICKING it!

I’ll get my coat.
