I got the Air 3S. Kept waiting to see what DJI would do with the Mavic 4 Pro.

Waited a bit too long and ended up paying $100-200 more before US tariffs took hold.

My Mavic 2 Pro was on its last legs so had no choice.

It appears the Air series is now the biggest drones which still fit in the C1 class.

So far though, I’ve not seen any signs of enforcement, like them checking for the class of your drone or anything and I’ve been flying in France and now Greece.

Presumably I would have been able to fly the Mavic 3 or 4 Pro in the same places. However, I also don’t want to carry bigger kit than necessary either.

I like that the Air 3S is almost 200 grams lighter than the Mavic 2 Pro I had. I haven’t looked too closely at the image quality though or whether the lack of variable aperture has hurt image quality.

I mostly shoot some video or panos and the panos stitched in drone look terrific, at least the JPG. Will see how they hold up when I stitch in Lightroom.

Hoping to fly in the UK. I registered for this site a couple of years ago when I was visiting the Cotswolds but didn’t end up flying there. The terrain there is kind of flat so I didn’t fly.
