Really enjoyed that mate. Your obviously a good photographer. What a stunning setting.

Hello Andy,

Thank you for your feedback and your compliment, you are right I think the setting makes all the difference and it also makes it easier to find good composition.

At present I have 4 videos on youtube.

Robbie

It looks like some clips are coming from the phone footage rather than the SD card?

Cheers Robbie, Il have a look later tonite

Andy

Hi,

No phone was used but I think that any drop in video footage quality may eb a result of Youtube compressing into a smaller file.

regards,

Robbie

There was some flickering too…

If it was the video “KIELDER before the WATER” it was a bunch of very old black and white photos that I restored with some colour, I then added a filter/vignette that made it look like an old movie.

No at 2:50. Very low bitrate and flickering in drone footage.

Please be aware that before you can fly any drone at Kielder you would need permissions from Forestry Commission, possibly Northumbrian Water and in addition there is a restricted zone over the Kielder Water whereby permission is required from RAF Spade Adam.

Thank you very much for your feedback, this is great as it always helps me to improve.

Not over all of it

Yes, but because the restricted zone covers some of the reservoir then if not careful you could inadvertently stray, or any strong gusts of wind could cause your aircraft to stray into the restricted zone.

Just to be clear this isn’t a restricted zone

Category
Danger Area

Summary
Red zones are regulated high-risk areas and operation of your drone may be hazardous or prohibited.
